28/01/2026 – esta é a data que o América Futebol Clube completa 80 anos de história. Para celebrar o clube preparou a exposição “América 80 anos: nossa história, nosso orgulho”, um mergulho na trajetória do clube.

A mostra reúne em fotos, vídeos, camisas e troféus, os momentos marcantes, imagens históricas, conquistas esportivas, personagens emblemáticos e tudo o que ajudou a construir a identidade de um dos clubes mais tradicionais do interior paulistas.

Pensando em celebrar três marcos importantes da trajetória do Rubro (20 anos do título da Copinha, 30 anos do estádio Teixeirão e 80 anos do clube), a exposição começa dia 28 de janeiro, aniversário do America FC, e segue até dia 10 de fevereiro, aniversário do Teixeirão.

E para deixar a data ainda mais especial, no dia do lançamento, o clube oferece um coquetel voltado à diretoria, patrocinadores, autoridades e convidados especiais, como três ídolos que representam diferentes gerações e capítulos fundamentais da história americana. A presença de Negão, Marcinho e André Zuba, simbolizando a ligação entre passado e presente.

A exposição conta a história desde a fundação do clube, em 28 de janeiro de 1946, quando Antônio Tavares Pereira Lima deu início ao sonho de construir um time que engrandecesse a cidade, até campanhas memoráveis no Campeonato Paulista, participações históricas no Campeonato Brasileiro, feitos reconhecidos nacionalmente e a relação intensa entre clube, torcida e cidade.

Entre os destaques da mostra, estão o período em que o América permaneceu 33 anos consecutivos na elite do Campeonato Paulista, as vitórias históricas, a construção do estádio Mário Alves Mendonça, a inauguração do Teixeirão, além de títulos marcantes como o Paulista da Série A2 de 1999 e a inédita conquista da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior de 2006.

Ídolos no Coquetel
Negão foi revelado nas categorias de base do América e construiu uma trajetória marcada por entrega, raça e identificação com o clube. Vice-campeão da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior de 1988, também integrou a equipe campeã da Taça SBS de Juniores, no Japão, em 1987. No profissional, atuou disputando na elite do Campeonato Paulista entre 1989 e 1996, período em que o América figurava entre os primeiros colocados do Estado.
O volante passou dez anos vestindo a camisa Rubro, entrou para a história ao marcar o milésimo gol do América no Paulistão, em 1994, e também esteve presente na inauguração do Teixeirão, em 1996.

Já Marcinho, símbolo técnico do elenco campeão paulista da Série A2 de 1999, foi peça chave nesta campanha marcante da história do Mecão.
O atacante atuava pelos dois lados do campo e ficou conhecido pelos dribles desconcertantes, gols decisivos e assistências importantes.

André Zuba, goleiro titular e grande nome da histórica conquista da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior de 2006, foi decisivo na final ao defender duas cobranças de pênalti e converter a sua, garantindo o título invicto ao América. A campanha colocou o clube em evidência nacional e marcou a única conquista da Copinha por um time da região. Após o título, Zuba foi efetivado no elenco profissional e disputou partidas pelo Campeonato Paulista da 1ª Divisão, consolidando sua trajetória no Rubro.
