Um avião particular, pertencente à empresa Frigoestrela, de Estrela D’Oeste, pousará no aeroporto de Rio Preto na tarde desta quarta-feira, 2/7, com uma missão de vida: fazer o transporte de um fígado para transplante até São Paulo.

O piloto da aeronave aguarda a captação do órgão, que acontece na Santa Casa de Rio Preto. O procedimento acontecerá no Hospital São Paulo, na capital ainda nesta quarta.

“Essa é a quinta vez que o GRUPO FRIGOESTRELA participa dessa ação por uma vida neste ano. É uma honra poder ser um financiador desse projeto que dá a oportunidade de alguém voltar a ter uma rotina mais próxima da normalidade e uma nova chance. Olhar para o próximo é uma das missões do nosso grupo, que fazemos com muito amor e compromisso, e que nos enche de orgulho.”, disse Vadão Gomes – Fundador do GRUPO FRIGOESTRELA.

A iniciativa é parte de um programa do governo estadual chamado TransplanAR Aviação Solidária, lançado em setembro de 2024, que tem como finalidade agilizar e baratear os custos de transporte de órgãos para transplante, utilizando aeronaves particulares, de forma totalmente gratuita, o que também pode beneficiar um maior número de pessoas, ampliando as chances de sucesso no procedimento cirúrgico. A empresa que doou o voo não tem nenhum benefício fiscal ou financeiro para fazer o transporte, que é totalmente custeado pelo dono da aeronave.
