De 2 a 12 de outubro, o Riopreto Shopping Center recebe a exposição “COP30 em imagens”, uma iniciativa do Movimento Ser Tão que reúne trabalhos de **33 artistas de São José do Rio Preto e região. A curadoria é de **Oscar D’Ambrósio, com coordenação de Luciane D’Alessandro, Marcelo Lopes e Patrícia Buzzini, e expografia da arquiteta Josiane Sabino, todos também participantes da mostra.
O projeto tem como tema a Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre as Mudanças Climáticas de 2025, a COP30, que será realizada em novembro do próximo ano em Belém (PA). Considerado um dos principais encontros globais sobre o tema, o evento reúne chefes de Estado, cientistas, ONGs e representantes da sociedade civil para discutir estratégias de combate às mudanças climáticas.
“Os trabalhos enfocam as temáticas desse encontro global anual em que líderes mundiais, cientistas, organizações não governamentais e representantes da sociedade civil discutem ações para combater as mudanças do clima”, explica o curador Oscar D’Ambrósio.
Entre os assuntos tratados pela conferência e que inspiraram os artistas estão: redução de emissões de gases de efeito estufa, adaptação às mudanças climáticas, financiamento climático para países em desenvolvimento, tecnologias de energia renovável, preservação de florestas e biodiversidade, além da justiça climática e dos impactos sociais.
Para D’Ambrósio, a COP30 representa uma oportunidade histórica para o Brasil reafirmar sua liderança internacional em sustentabilidade. “O objetivo deste projeto é levar artistas visuais a pensarem esses temas e transformá-los em imagens que mesclem emoção, razão e criatividade, estimulando reflexões que conectem as pessoas consigo mesmas, com a sociedade, com a natureza e com o universo”, destaca.
