Aeroporto de São José do Rio Preto deve receber 147 mil passageiros na alta temporada

Expectativa é de que 700 voos regulares e 40 operações extras sejam realizadas entre os meses de dezembro de 2024 e janeiro de 2025

Com novas rotas e mais voos disponíveis em comparação com a última temporada, os rio-pretenses que desejam aproveitar as festividades de final de ano e o período de férias escolares para viajar terão ainda mais facilidade e conforto nos seus deslocamentos aéreos. Sob a gestão da Aeroportos Paulistas – ASP, o Aeroporto de São José do Rio Preto espera receber 147 mil viajantes, entre embarques e desembarques, nos 740 voos previstos para os meses de dezembro de 2024 e janeiro de 2025. A estimativa é 18% maior em relação ao mesmo período no ano anterior, quando 124.854 passageiros foram atendidos em 610 voos no segundo maior aeroporto do interior do estado de São Paulo.

Para atender à demanda da alta temporada, a Azul Linhas Aéreas prevê adicionar 40 voos extras para destinos no nordeste brasileiro. Entre as ampliações, que contemplam destinos já consolidados, estão 16 novas frequências para Maceió (AL) e oito voos extras para cada um dos aeroportos de Porto Seguro (BA) e Natal (RN). Além disso, a companhia prevê retomar, de forma sazonal, a conexão com João Pessoa (PB), oferecendo oito voos entre dezembro de 2024 e janeiro de 2025.

De acordo com Dario Rais Lopes, CEO da ASP, o ano de 2024 tem sido muito positivo em relação ao ano passado. “Estamos muito satisfeitos com a tendência de crescimento na movimentação de passageiros observada nos últimos meses. Acreditamos no grande potencial de Rio Preto e, por isso, seguimos comprometidos em implementar melhorias na experiência dos clientes, reforçar a segurança das operações e fortalecer a interlocução com as companhias aéreas para viabilizar novas e melhores opções de conectividade. Como exemplo, destacamos a retomada de operações diretas para o Aeroporto de Confins (MG) e, agora, o incremento de opções para importantes destinos turísticos brasileiros”, avalia.

Destinos atendidos pelo aeroporto de Rio Preto
Atualmente, o Aeroporto de São José do Rio Preto atende voos regulares das companhias aéreas Azul, Gol e LATAM para os aeroportos de Guarulhos (SP), Congonhas (SP), Viracopos (SP), Confins (MG), Porto Seguro (BA), Maceió (AL), Recife (PE) e Natal (RN). As passagens podem ser adquiridas diretamente nos canais de venda das companhias aéreas.

Em 2024, o Aeroporto de São José do Rio Preto está atendendo, em média, 58 mil passageiros por mês, com picos de até 64 mil durante a alta temporada. Diariamente, cerca de 2 mil viajantes utilizam o aeroporto, considerando embarques e desembarques.

Pelo prazo de 30 anos, será responsável por serviços de ampliação, manutenção, operação e exploração dos complexos aeroportuários integrantes dos Blocos Noroeste do estado: São José do Rio Preto, Presidente Prudente, Araçatuba, Barretos, Andradina, Dracena, Votuporanga, Assis, Penápolis, Tupã e Presidente Epitácio.
